About MRGCD

The Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District operates and maintains irrigation, drainage, and river flood control systems throughout the Middle Rio Grande Valley. The district also promotes responsible water management, works to protect the environment and wildlife in partnership with local, state, and federal agencies, and provides multi-use recreational opportunities throughout the middle valley.

Service Technician

Salary: $24.15 minimum to start

The Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District (MRGCD) is seeking a goal-oriented individual to join our Belen Division as the Service Technician. The Service Technician performs field servicing and lubricating of light and heavy equipment including loaders, backhoes, excavators, dozers, transport and dump trucks; drives fuel truck to various worksite locations to refuel and perform field service work; assists with parts requests; maintains accurate and complete records of work done.

A valid New Mexico Commercial Driver’s License, minimum Class B (CDL) with Tanker and HAZMAT endorsement is required, Class A CDL preferred. Must maintain insurability under the District’s vehicle insurance program.
