Certification of voting machines for the 2011 MRGCD Board of Directors election will be held at Automated Election Services, 7000 Zenith Court, Rio Ranch, NM 87144 Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 10:00AM. Automated Election Services welcomes anyone who would like to attend.
Drawing for Postition on Ballot for all candidates that have been qualified is Monday, April 11, 2011 at 9:00AM at the MRGCD District Office.
Candidate packets and petitions for the 2011 MRGCD Board of Directors Election can only be picked up at the MRGCD District Office-1931 Second Street SW. The filing deadline is Friday, April 8, 2011 at 4:30PM. Questions- contact Evelyn Bennett, MRGCD Election Officer at 505-247-0234.
73-14-24.A. On the first Tuesday after the first Monday in January prior to the District election, an election proclamation shall be published that includes a list of the offices for which a candidate may file, the date and place at which declaration of candidacy shall be filed and the date of the election. The election proclamation shall be published once a newspaper of general circulation in the countries which the election shall be held.
On Monday, April, 2011, the candidates that qualified for the 2011 MRGCD Board of Directors election drew for position on the ballot. Attached are those candidates as they will be listed on the ballot.
